ShortDescriptionThe ESCI and ECI provide test-takers with a score of their emotional intelligence along with ways to improve in areas they are weak in. The tests also include feedback from others (managers, peers, direct reports) to give a fully rounded picture for the individual.
LongDescriptionIQ is only one aspect of doing well. The others involve our abilities to empathize, fit in, to understand our self and others. These are the principles which underpin Emotional Intelligence (EI). Numerous studies have shown that it's EI which makes the difference between a highly effective leader and an average one. Both the ESCI and the ECI seek to measure emotional intelligence. The ECI describes 18 competencies that differentiate outstanding performers from average performers. It can be used in coaching individuals and in helping teams improve their effectiveness. The ESCI is a newer version of the tool and describes 12 competencies. Individuals provide the testing agency with participant names and email addresses. The company emails participants a unique login for the surveys website. All surveys are completed online. The agency analyzes results and produces feedback reports. If the assessment is taken as a group, the agency produces a team composite report which shows the averaged scores for the group. The assessment may also be completed on paper. Completion time: 30-45 minutes, Cost: $3000
